Job Description

The Logistics Supervisor (m/f/d) will have the full functional and disciplinary responsibility for the Flow Control Room section.

The selected candidate will need to lead a 24/6 operation and manage the team effectively, as well as acting as a role model, by carrying out the following task areas:

  • Initiates and oversees the implementation of projects across the entire process chain, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.

  • Manages the planning of employee resources to guarantee efficient and timely task execution.
  • Monitors the timely execution of orders and implements corrective actions if deviations occur.
  • Ensures a smooth workflow in the distribution center, maintaining balanced workloads across all areas and updating system data accordingly
  • Coordinates and prioritizes interventions with technical teams and relevant departments.
  • Ensures compliance with inventory regulations, including SOX, GDP, and DI requirements.
  • Provides daily reports to track performance, capacity, and workload.
  • Documents processes, change-requests and the execution of user acceptance tests.
  • Initiates and implements projects aimed at continuous improvement.
  • Conducts testing of the technical environment after maintenance or modifications.

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for the role, the selected candidate must have:

  • Successfully completed bachelor's degree in economics, ideally with a specialization in supply chain or logistics
  • Min. 3-5 years of working experience in logistics with progressive responsibility and multiple years of experience in leading people
  • Business fluency in English and German (verbally & written)
  • Proficient user in MS Office, as well as in SAP and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Good understanding of the application of lean-management-tools and process-improvement-techniques
  • Team building ability and coach, track record of organizational development
  • Ability to liaise and communicate pro-actively with people of all sorts of backgrounds and levels
  • High degree of flexibility, work independently and take the right decisions under pressure
  • Able to handle conflicts in a constructive way - strong interpersonal skills
