We are looking for a General Ledger Accountant (80%-100%) to join the Accounting department in Lausanne on a temporary basis for six months, an expert in closings. English and French C1, ERP: Microsoft Dynamics and/or Oracle and strong +. Background in the Industrial/manufacturing/construction sector. Accounting norms: IFRS.

About Our Client

Our client is an international company operating in the Contruction sector, known for its expertise and commitment to excellence.

Job Description

  • Active participation in general accounting during monthly closings
  • Support on various key accounting processes (provisions, exceptional transactions) to ensure monthly closings are completed on time
  • Analysis and monitoring of customer accounts, management of reminders and contentious cases
  • Weekly reporting of open items to management
  • Active contribution to the implementation of a new ERP system (from Microsoft Dynamics AX to Oracle)
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Control and monitoring of the application of the group's accounting principles
  • Various administrative tasks related to accounting
  • Actively participate in improving processes and tools

The Successful Applicant

Successful applicant:

· Holder of an advanced qualification in accounting (Federal Diploma, HEG or university)

· Solid experience within an accounting department in Switzerland and experience in an international company is an asset

· Comfortable with standard IT tools and good knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics AX)

· Proficient in French and English (C1) ; knowledge of German is an asset

· Methodical and autonomous, while open to new working methods

· Enjoys contact and teamwork, trustworthy person

· Flexible and responsive, able to adapt quickly
