The Finance Manager will oversee financial activities for a family office (private equity), ensuring financial health, accuracy, and compliance.This role involves liaising local accounting, fiduciary and legal teams, reviewing financial reports, providing projections, and identifying risks. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in guiding financial decisions and monitoring the overall financial strategy.

Our client is a family office.

Job Description

  • Financial Projections & Planning: Develop financial forecasts, budgets, cash forecasts and strategic projections to support decision-making;
  • Reporting & Analysis: Consolidate financial reports across different locations, providing insights, variance analyses, and actionable recommendations;
  • Risk Management & Red Flags: Identify financial irregularities and potential risks, providing timely red-flag alerts to senior management;
  • Oversight of Local Teams: Supervise work performed by local accounting, fiduciary and legal staff;
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate closely with internal teams and external advisors to maintain transparency and ensure alignment with family office objectives.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor or Master in Finance, accounting or related field
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a Big 4, a family office, corporate finance or similar role
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Excellent communication and ability to be assertive and demanding.

What's on Offer

You will join a small company and be part of a collaborative team while having a key role in the management of a portfolio of private equity investments.

The role will require occasional travel (20% of the time) within Europe.
