Job Description

  • Review / prepare financial statements and oversee the accounting for a portfolio of entities;
  • Support budget planning and cash flow forecasting activities to aid strategic decision-making;
  • Manage the accounting team;
  • Foster effective communication and rapport with stakeholders, including family members, team members, and advisers;
  • Help monitor tangible assets and the individuals responsible for them (such as property managers), while resolving routine operational or administrative issues;
  • Respond to one-off enquiries and provide analytical insights and summaries for leadership.
  • Oversee tax-related obligations and design efficient tax approaches for both personal and investment matters.
  • Contribute to deal processes, including reviewing contractual terms and building financial models for purchases or divestments.
  • Work alongside external partners to manage various compliance needs

The Successful Applicant

  • An academic background in accounting, finance, or a related field;
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar position or within a Big 4;
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are advantageous;
  • Fluency in English and French.
