About Our Client

My client is a global Crypto company in one of the most promising narratives of 2025 which Larry Fink, CEO of Blackrock, is particularly excited about. In order to foster its global expansion, we are currently looking for a Chief Compliance Officer (m/f/d).

Job Description

  • Build out and lead the global compliance and licensing department at the company, basically from scratch
  • Oversee the compliant acquisition of licenses across different global jurisdictions, such as the EU, the US, Dubai and the British Virgin Islands / Cayman islands
  • Build out and maintain sustainable relationships with regulatory bodies. The goal is to position the company as best in class when it comes to regulatory compliance across different regions
  • Submit quarterly and annual regulatory reports
  • Design and implement sustainable, best in class compliance policies, which include AML / KYC / KYB procedures, and establish a high performing team of KYC / AML specialists
  • Develop internal compliance structures and policies
  • Support and consult the founders on all compliance , risk management and licensing related topics

The Successful Applicant

  • Successful studies of business, finance, law etc.
  • A convincing track record of compliance leadership in the Crypto industry
  • A wealth of experience combining both the topic of obtaining financial licenses across the globe in different jurisdictions, as well as the successful implementation of state of the art AML / KYC / KYB procedures
  • Experience building and leading a successful compliance team
  • Strong network among regulators, auditors and industry partners
  • Location: EU, US or Dubai
