Job DescriptionEnsure the drafting of financial analyses integrated into credit protocolsAnalyze both the substance and form of files and provide decision-making conclusionsConduct reviews and analysis of credit protocols submitted by the Front Office, collaborating with the Front Office on improvements to be made to the files, and develop decision-making conclusions for protocols submitted for credit committee approvalEnsure the acquisition and enforceability of collateral documentation in coordination with the Front Office and Legal teamsPresent credit files to the Division Head and comment on decision-making conclusionsEnsure proper entry of validated credit lines in the transaction tracking systemReview and validate major counterparty, service provider, broker, and insurance accreditation requestsInteract continuously with other teams involved in Global Commodity Finance activities (Transaction Management, Legal, Compliance Front)Stay informed about market developments, key players in the commodity sector, and regulatory changes affecting their financingPropose solutions for optimizing processes and tools in Credit Review activitiesOccasionally participate in the management of contentious and pre-contentious filesParticipate in significant development projects within the Credit & Transaction Management activityThe Successful ApplicantExperience as a Credit Officer/Analyst with banks active in commodity trading finance, and/or experience with an audit firm managing a portfolio of commodity trading clientsComprehensive understanding of risk aspects related to commodity trading financingNative French speaker, good command of EnglishExcellent interpersonal and writing skillsStrong analytical, synthesis, and presentation abilitiesAbility to work under pressure and strong team spiritWhat's on OfferThis is a permanent, full time position, to join an existing team.
