Executive Role in Commercial Operations In Automotive

About Our Client
Our client is a global growing automotive supplier. For their further expansion plans in Switzerland, we are looking for a newly created role for a Chief Commercial Officer / VP Commercial Excellence.
Job Description
- Achieve P&L objectives for Europe-wide B2B and B2C channels working in collaboration with European Executive Team 35 HC and 55 HC in-direct with 5 direct reports
- Manage overall European channel performance management, incl. defining and reviewing appropriate KPIs
- Steer channel strategy and optimize European commercial performance across channels; Ultimate decision maker to resolve channel conflicts within and across Regions
- Develop European Marketing and Pricing functions optimizing decisions in the best interests of our client in collaboration with the European Executive Team (EET)
- Lead Key Account Management for European key accounts
- Lead European Digital Customer Experience team for the Commercial functions; Lead European B2C e-commerce strategy
- Develop and implement European commercial digital strategy
- Help develop sales excellence and branch management excellence capabilities across Europe
- Represent Commercial functions at European level as needed to optimize cross-functional decisions at the European level and help to shape the overall Commercial strategy and priorities in collaboration with the EET
- Operate as member of the European leadership team to support the development of strategic plans, investment decisions and budgets
- Collaborate with the European leadership Team to secure best business decisions for Europe
- Develop a motivated, effective and efficient European Commercial team
- Ensure compliance with global the Code of Conduct
- Reporting to the CEO Europe
The Successful Applicant
- Executive MSc/ MA in Business Administration or relevant field (preferred: MBA)
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant Commercial experience (preferred: across multiple functions) or as a COO or regional CEO role
- Proven experience as successful, decisive leader in a strategic multi-functional, global environment
- International experience across both B2B and B2C
- Excellent negotiation and relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and Digital understanding
- Automotive experience with OEM's is a strong asset
- In-depth knowledge of commercial (incl. marketing, pricing) and general management best practices
- Excellent communication and presentations skills
- Fluent in English and German any further language is a advantage
