About Our Client

Our client is an institution in the financial services industry with global importance and offices in the city of Basel. You will be part of the Banking Department and the Middle Office team. It will be a temporary position for 1 year with the possibility for further extensions. Preferred start date would be beginning of April 2022 and you would be supporting to the operation, provision and development of asset management, products and services.

Job Description

  • Work closely together with Asset Management, Risk Management and Finance
  • Support to the operation, provision and development of asset management, products and services
  • Reporting
  • Migrate solutions in the context of Programme 2025
  • Face clients (including data providers)
  • Troubleshooting (pick-up issues in the reports/ internal queries/ client queries)
  • Portfolio creation, guidelines implementation, position / data reconciliation across systems and databases
  • Coordinate the production of and contribute to annual reports and liaise with Financial and external auditors
  • Reconciliation between the bank and custodian
  • Check and process fees related to third party asset management service providers
  • Monitor cash ensure dividends and re-invested as and when appropriate
  • Compute and execute the annual rebalancing process

The Successful Applicant

  • 5+ years of experience in an asset management environment ideal in the financial sector
  • Experience with migration / transition projects
  • Strong knowledge or 5+ years of experience working with financial instruments (fix income)
  • Strong knowledge or 2+ years of experience with Business Objects / Excel
  • Experience with testing / troubleshooting systems
  • Business analysis experience to support on-going operations, by running analyses, refining, and improving tools / processes
  • Proficiency level of English
  • Teamplayer attitude and client-facing abilities
  • Proactive and self-motivated person who is flexible
