The Area Sales Manager EMEA leads, coordinates, motivates, and supports the Sales and Customer Support teams across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.This role manages strategic key accounts within the region and collaborates with global teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The position is responsible for driving regional commercial performance in line with corporate financial objectives and strategic growth plans.

Job Description

Sales Management - 50%

  • Manage and coordinate sales activities to maximize business performance within the assigned region.
  • Develop regional sales plans aligned with the company's strategic direction.
  • Drive the regional sales team to meet annual sales, orders, and profit targets.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for regional strategic key accounts and ensure alignment with global account managers.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance across the region.



Sales Operations - 10%

  • Support forecasting processes in collaboration with finance and supply chain teams.
  • Ensure regional offices operate in alignment with overall company strategy.
  • Organize regular team meetings to review opportunities and business priorities.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Service team to streamline order processing and acknowledgment.



Customer Support - 10%

  • Lead the regional customer support organization to ensure high customer satisfaction through remote and on‑site support.
  • Coordinate internal and external training programs for employees, customers, and distributors.
  • Ensure availability of required tools, both hardware and software, to support the team's activities.



Distribution Network - 20%

  • Define distribution strategies for existing and new territories, ensuring compliance with internal policies.
  • Collaborate with business development on selecting new distribution partners and renewing existing agreements.
  • Work with the Contracts team to prepare and finalize necessary contractual documentation.
  • Provide timely support to regional sales channels.



People Management - 10%

  • Lead and develop the regional Sales and Customer Support teams.
  • Manage recruitment, performance, training, and development activities to ensure the team meets business objectives.
  • Coach team members in alignment with company values and leadership principles.



The Successful Applicant

  • Engineering background with strong technical experience, ideally in rotating equipment or industrial/energy‑related sectors.
  • 15+ years of relevant experience in technical markets.
  • Strong communication skills and strong team player with leadership capabilities.
  • Proven ability to work effectively across functions and in a global environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Ability to develop strategic plans and drive growth.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, evolving environment.
  • Ability to motivate and influence teams to achieve objectives.
  • Positive mindset and proactive attitude.
