Job Description

  • Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reporting, and reconciliations
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
  • Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, including intercompany invoicing
  • Assist with factoring, netting, treasury, and cash management activities
  • Support fixed asset accounting and lease accounting
  • Contribute to statutory reporting, SOX controls, and audit processes
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and PRC GAAP requirements
  • Work with SAP across core finance and accounting processes
  • Collaborate closely with the international finance team
  • Actively contribute to process improvements and operational efficiencies

The Successful Applicant

  • Academic background in finance, accounting, or a related discipline
  • Several years of professional experience in a senior accounting function within an international organization
  • Proven hands-on exposure to core accounting activities, particularly in general ledger and end‑to‑end finance processes
  • Practical experience with manufacturing or product-related cost accounting
  • Confident working knowledge of both US accounting standards and Chinese local GAAP
  • Strong user experience with SAP in a complex finance environment
  • Professional fluency in English; additional language skills such as Mandarin are a clear advantage
  • Experience gained in a large audit firm and/or a professional accounting qualification is beneficial
  • Able to work autonomously while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable managing workloads in dynamic, deadline-driven environments
