Built on a 60-year tradition of excellence and with its headquarters in the Canadian town of Valcourt, Quebec, BRP owns manufacturing facilities in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Finland, Austria, and China, and has a total workforce of about 5,500 people. BRP products are distributed in no fewer than 80 countries by over 5,000 dealers and distributors.
In order to support and increase their presence on the Benelux and German markets, they are looking for an experienced Senior Communications Advisor.

Job description
Based at the European HQ in Lausanne, you will be accountable to adapt and implement communication tools to promote BRP's Sea-Doo®, Can-Am™ and Evinrude® product lines throughout your area.
You will work closely with the Regional & local Communication and Marketing Advisors to ensure successful implementation and coordination of projects agreed. You will also act as an Advisor within direct operations to ensure that the BRP premium image and positioning are respected, as well as help the District Managers deploy ideas to distributor markets.

To do so, you will have the following responsibilities :

- Responsible for the timely production of communication tools (traditional OR digital) in line with branding guidelines.
- Adapt international tools (brochures, web banners, etc.) to local market realities
- Responsible for planning accurate schedules for the provision and delivery of these marketing materials
- Liaise regularly with the distribution centre in Ghent to coordinate shipment of goods to market.
- Liaise with marketing material suppliers in relation to invoicing, orders etc
- Oversee the maintenance and updates of the web sites (Euro countries) and work with local teams to ensure web maintenance
- Ensure that all releases are well communicated to dealers and countries in regions
- Proofread marketing documents, checking for accuracy
- Work in cooperation with the marketing and sales teams by creating promotional communication campaigns to support the business (specific DM campaign, advertising, leaflet, etc.) as and when required
- Oversee budget in conjunction with Manager

Who we are looking for
With a university degree in a related discipline or equivalent related work experience, you have a strong proven track record in communications/PR on both a national and global scope. Autonomous and committed, you are able to work independently in a fast-paced environment as well as being a team player.

A highly skilled communicator, you feel comfortable with dotted line relationships in a matrix and international environment. You are a master at media handling and fluent in Dutch and German, with a good knowledge of English. Knowledge of French would be considered as a great asset. As a true communications specialist, you are creative, innovative and highly customer oriented.
