Metalor Technologies SA is an international Swiss-based group, with subsidiaries in 15 countries. It is a leading participant in the field of precious metals and advanced materials.
Based close to Neuchâtel, for their Refining division, we are recruiting a Refining Division Controller.

Job description
Reporting to the General Manager Refining Division and managing a team of 3 direct reports, you will be responsible for the following :
* Overall responsibility for financial reporting and internal control for the operations, managing and coaching the finance team of 3 staff
* Reviewing, analysing and understanding the financial performance, providing support to the management team through financial & non-financial analysis as required
* Preparation of monthly management accounts within designated timescales, as well as responsibility for monthly forecasting and annual financial planning activities
* Ensuring compliance with all local statutory requirements including local financial reporting, as well as other operational policies, for example relating to efficient cash management and foreign currency exposure hedging activities
* Providing local decision support to the management team and department managers, driving and supporting financial appraisal of key projects, for example major investments in capital expenditure, R&D projects or sales & marketing initiatives
* Driving process improvements to maximise the efficiency and quality of the finance operations, as well as supporting improvements to wider business processes

Who we are looking for
As a minimum, you will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

A minimum of seven years of Finance related experience is required. Experience gained in a manufacturing site is essential.

You will also have the following skills :
* Superior communication, business partnering, problem solving skills are required, as well as a strong ability to prioritise.
* Excellent analytical and advanced Excel skills are required.
* Operating with ERP systems and experience in the use of SAP would be an asset.
* Strong self-motivation with demonstrated leadership abilities with both direct reports and finance colleagues.
* Fluency in French and in English, verbally and written skills, are required.
