One of the leading strategy consulting firms is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Corporate Finance practice.
Aufgabengebiet
- Leverage your industry knowledge by serving as a consultant on client teams that help major corporations define overall strategy, identify attractive M&A and alliance opportunities, structure transactions and manage the process of integration
- Develop the corporate finance practice further
- Play an active role in all aspects of the consulting engagements: identifying issues, forming hypotheses, designing and conducting analyses, synthesizing conclusions into recommendations, managing client interaction, and helping to implement change
- Further deepen your corporate finance expertise and develop broader consulting and management skills
Anforderungsprofil
- A minimum of 3-5 years relevant work experience, preferably in accounting, a consulting firm, a blue-chip company (corporate development or finance) or a bank (M&A, PE or Strategic Alliances)
- An outstanding record of academic achievement (Hochschule), excellent grades is a must, a MBA would be an advantage
- Experience as an assistant to a CFO or big4 advisory would be an advantage
- Superior problem-solving skills
- Well developed quantitative and modelling skills, including the ability to conduct sophisticated financial analyses
- A strong understanding of the principles of corporate finance, valuation techniques and financial statement analysis
- An appreciation for and strong interest in the integration of strategy and finance
- In addition to being fluent in German or French, fluency in English is a must
