About Our Client

Our client is an international manufacturer of microelectronic systems and ThinFilm Technology.

Job Description

  • Acquisition of new customers in target markets (Business Development).
  • Manage existing clients and ensure/sustain running business. Drive corrective actions if necessary (Account Management).
  • Act as link between customers and the ThinFilm Plants (Operations and Development), work with technical staff and the Sales Back Office to meet customer needs.
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events, conferences and trade fairs, and provide feedback.
  • Analyze sales results and trends for proactive actions to insure achievement of objectives
  • Identification of new opportunities fitting within the company's market or geographic area to maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.
  • Present to and consult with mid and senior level management on developing new services, products, and technologies.
  • Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company's CRM or other sales management system.
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are meeting expectations.

The Successful Applicant

  • A minimum of five years sales experience in a global environment
  • B2B experience on an international level, ability to understand technical concepts of ThinFilm Technology
  • Experience with customer acquisition.
  • Ability to negotiate pricing and legal contracts with international customers in English
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills with a good sense and respect for different cultures.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • High profile networking.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 1/3 of time
  • Experience of PCB and Microelectronics market (desirable)
  • English and German fluent written and oral
