Interim Head of Finance 9 months (m/f)

About Our Client
-The successful applicant will be part of the leadership team and will report directly to the CEO. -The candidate for this role should be friendly and outgoing, polite, have excellent organizational skills, demonstrate strong teamwork and gain satisfaction from assisting others.
-Previous experience working in a multicultural environment is essential.
-Supervising the day-to-day accounting, including general ledger, debtors, suppliers and payments executed by our 2 finance assistants -Preparing the financial reports: monthly for the CEO and the Directors, and quarterly for the Executive Board, including budgets and forecasts; -Coordinating the payroll with the fiduciary (outsourced) as well as all HR formalities with the HR Director; -Implementing the newly approved Financial Policies and Procedures at all levels; -Updating regularly the Annual Plan as well as the Business Plan
-Managing the cash funds and currency exchanges, and producing the cash flow reports for the CEO; -Serving as secretary of the Risk and Compliance Committee; -Administrating the finances of the Foundation (separate entity with very limited activity); -Preparing the accounts for the annual VAT review and report and for the annual Audit;
-Any other finance related tasks as required: financial reports, insurances, taxes, VAT administration, etc.
The Successful Applicant
-7+ years direct experience in a similar role -In-depth knowledge of the Swiss Accounting and HR requirements and procedures -Appropriate tertiary qualification -IT literate, experience with Abacus accounting software a plus -Fluent in English and French -Experience in managing relationships across cultures and geographies
