About Our Client
International pharmaceutical company with a world wide presence
Manage entire recruitment process from start to finish:
o Work closely with hiring managers to fully understand job specifications and requirements.
o Develop and build out advertising channels to drive candidate pipeline-job posts, university recruitment, social media channels, and employee referral process.
o Review resumes, perform screening interviews with candidates and consult with hiring manager to compile candidate shortlist.
o Schedule interviews and obtain feedback from interviewers.
o Negotiate offers and complete employment documentation.
o Provide regular status reports and up-to-date candidate tracking. o Manage work permit and expat application process.
o Oversee internship programs for both academic and non-academic interns.
Administer annual performance management process for Swiss employees, liaising with employees and managers to ensure compliance within required timeframes.
Enhance employee engagement and organisational effectiveness through the administration of reward and recognition schemes, employee events, wellness programs, employee surveys, etc.
Create, maintain and analyse HR reports on a regular basis including monthly MIS report.
Provide assistance with compensation management and budgeting through salary planning and market surveys.
Manage annual manpower budgeting process for Switzerland.
Maintain and troubleshoot HR software and applications, and in some cases serve as Swiss implementation partner on global projects, with a focus on maximizing efficiency, improving processes and project implementation to ensure timely and accurate data and reporting.
Develop and implement HR policies consistent with Swiss employment legislation.
Provide backup and assistance to other members of the HR team as required in the areas of payroll, new hire induction, training and development, and benefits administration.
Perform other duties as required.
The Successful Applicant
Educational background: commercial apprenticeship or university degree
Minimum of 10 years of progressive generalist HR experience with some part of this experience acquired in a multinational organisation
Successful track record recruiting for a variety of positions in a corporate environment; experience recruiting for scientific positions and/or pharma industry highly desired
Proven experience in HR data management and reporting
Native French speaker with business-level proficiency in English, both oral and written
Friendly and open personality with the ability to build rapport quickly and to influence all levels to ensure a successful and positive outcome for both the company and the employee(s)
Ability to deal with sensitive situations with professionalism, tact and diplomacy
Superior organizational skills; must be able to manage to tight timescales and re-prioritise workload on a regular basis to adjust to business needs
Entrepreneurial approach to business with a sensitivity to carefully managing costs and adhering to budget
Strong negotiation skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills and a customer-focused mindset
Strong team spirit, flexibility and "can-do" attitude
Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office (strong Excel skills) and social networking sites with an emphasis on LinkedIn; experience with an HRIS a plus
Highly proactive and self-starter; ability to work autonomously
