Job Description

The Manufacturing site is accountable for its financial result, health and safety, with no accident as a target, and high quality. The site is operated by a service but 2 different reporting remain for each BUs.
The Sales team, the Marketing team, the Strategy and R&D teams are under BUs leadership.
The Procurement teams, as well as IT, Finance & HR are under Group support functions responsibilities.

Finance :
The company is a Swiss legal entity. Reporting is done in IFRS.

Primary purpose

The Controller has a financial function within production factories.
He/She maintains an effective internal control structure ensuring compliance with the company's accounting policies, and provide counselling to Management in driving performance.
He/She is key in the reporting process.

Key accountabilities
*Analytical accounting, standard financial statements and budgets, cost/price variance review and analysis, activity-costing for the reporting unit.
*Month-end and year-end closing process, and in reporting duties
*Developing and maintaining accurate standards for material, labor, and overhead costs.
*Providing, counseling to Operations and Management on a wide variety of business/financial issues to ensure achievement of performance targets.
*Financial forecasts, budget and business plan, manufacturing projection and asset management plans.
*Reviewing standard costs for new products as well as existing products when processes or inputs change.
*Product pricing, alternative scenarios development, purchasing, reporting and charting financial data, cash management and treasury activities
*Compliance with company policy for the existence, the accuracy, and the completeness of inventory balances via physical verification.
*Developing financial material for Operational Reviews (business planning and forecasting) as well as Building Efficiency, and Hyperion reporting requirements.
*Identifying best business practices and facilitates the propagation of these practices throughout the business.
*Assisting in special projects and analysis as needed

Leadership competencies, technical skills requirement

The Successful Applicant

*With a business or finance degree (HEG, HEC or equivalent, CPA or CIMA, Swiss degree Diplôme Fédéral d'Expert en Finance et Controlling/Eidg. dipl. Experte in Rechnungslegung und Controlling)
*Minimum of 10 years of broad financial experience in all aspects of business control.
*Experience in a manufacturing environment is a prerequisite (such as standard and job costing, understanding manufacturing processes, and the ability to trace the flow of information).
*A first experience in an audit accounting company is an asset.
*Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
*Strong analytical dimension with a global overview of the business,
*Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees/management
*Strong problem solving capabilities.
*Ability to manage multiple, critical projects simultaneously and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
*Familiarity with IT systems as they relate to financial functions and operational areas (SAP, HFM, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint)
*Languages: French fluent & English fluent, good command of German is an asset,
